end it all2 is a terrific program. Don't be afraid to use it before you start editing long form projects. Windows harbors alot of background task that are not essential to the OS and enditall2 will kill everything you don't need. This is a godsend when you're dealing with complex timelines.

Images slow down unless you render them because there is no codec associated with them. When you render your 2d or 3d move it will render to whatever codec you've selected for your timeline and then they'll play back smoothly. Remember that pics are not video and for every second of time, Liquid must render the JPEG or BMP 29.97 times (without a codec). That will slow down many systems

the image would slow down without an effect on them. i changed the timeline from uncompressed to the other option. its a 720 p project. that helped somewhat but every now and then it will hit a clip and slow down for no reason. im new to windows. i usually do everything on a mac with avid composer or xpress dv but i bought that little sanyo xacti hd that records 720p on an sd card and xpress hd wont import it without crashing. liquid does a great job but all the system crap im dealing with makes it a hassle. i have that enditall but i dont know what to end. anyway thanks for replying to my post. your awesome.

That format for Sanyo is MP4 isn't it? There is no mp4 native timeline for L7 so what codec are you using? MP@HL? If so then you timeline is yellow slice, right? I've not worked out a workflow for MP4 just yet. It is rare in the US to get MP4 source material other than the new camera made by Sanyo. It's a good format but non native to any editor that I know of. I'm sure the timeline would render quickly to HDV.
