I need to uplink to Sat a feed to Europe. The soiurce has to be SD NTSC 4:3 but the download clients in Europe want sd 16:9. Can I set up a 16:9 SD project on the atem and use a gfx as background and key the 4:3 image in the center? Maybe logo on either side of the 4:3 element? Then send this out put from ATEM TV studio to the sat truck?

I don't believe the ATEM TVS has a DVE. You'd need one to scale the 4x3 down to make room for the bars.

If you had an ATEM 1ME, would be possible.

You could do this if you get the 4:3 signal as a pillarbox 16:9 signal. Then you could use an upstream key to remove the bars and place a logo there. You can't do this inside TVS because there is currently no way of resizing or squeezing an input inside the TVS.

Have in mind that the multiview is currently not capable of displaying an SD 16:9 signal. It will show a squeezed 4:3 pillar box picture instead.

Regards

Andreas
