Hello,

Can I use this OpenGear converter for composite to SDI or is it only for component source? If I understood correctly I can choose the input mode by using the DIP switch. Still I red from BMD catalog that this is not specified for composite...I am bit confused.

Cheers,
Mikko Leino

I'm pretty certain that the input source can be switched from component to either composite or s-video through the dip switch settings.

You can indeed choose composite as your source.
