the title says it.
I'm especially interested in running it with a Mac Mini Server.
i can't find info on Avid or Blackmagic site regarding compatibility.

I used it today and it works great IF you want to drive a quicktime movie! Is shows up in protools as a pci-e card. It will NOT show up in the Mac OS display prefs so you can not use this for a second display option. I am kind of scratching my head as to why Black Magic has not addressed this, why make a video device is it won't show up in the display prefs?????

It isn't a video card, it is an I/O. If you are trying to use it to drive a second display like a graphics card would (if I understand your point correctly), you misunderstand it's purpose and you are trying to use the wrong tool for the job.
