ATEM Television Studio Camera Inputs

I am interested in purchasing the ATEM Television Studio to switch three cameras. The cameras I have been working for the past few years are the Sony PD-170 which have a composite video out. Is there a way which I can still use these cameras with the Television Studio? What kind of converter would I have to acquire to input the video into the Television Studio? Is this possible?

I have a question. If my cameras have already hdmi output, may I use them with the ATEM TVS?
Shouldn't I pay attention to the ATEM input resolution and cameras resolution?

The specs of the ATEM TVS say:

HD Format Support 1080i50, 1080i59.94, 720p50, 720p59.94
SD Format Support 625/25 PAL, 525/29.97 NTSC

Does this mean that I have to choose video cameras which have the exact resolution?

I haven't bought the ATEM TVS yet. I don't have enough money at this time. But I have done some more research. As far as I can see, the only way you may use the SX40HS and the ATEM TVS together is by setting BOTH OF THEM at 720p and nothing else. Didn't see the camera is able to output 1080i or the ATEM to input the 1080p. So your only try is to set them on 720p. Good luck and leave a reply if it worked! :D
