Blackmagic 16 tracks of mayhem

I've been trying to get Blackmagic to load only two or four tracks of audio rather than all 16 through Final Cut Pro, however, I can't figure out how to do it. It looks right in FCP, but then it still loads all 16 tracks. Has anyone come across this problem before?
