Black Magic Analog to SDI vs. AJA HD10ava

I've searched high and low -- and can't find an opinion regarding the "real world" differences between the:

$500 Black Magic Analog to SDI

and the...

$900 AJA HD10AVA
http://www.aja.com/products/converters/converters-hd-hd10ava.php

Anyone have an opinion on this -- or any rationalization regarding the added value of the AJA box?

Just price maybe ?

Someone who have seen both maybe have something to say.

Generally they both should be fine. BM has better price.

I'd say marketing and positioning in the market.

If Bob sayes from experience that both are good then id
take it seriously.
