Decklink HD Extreme problems with iDVD
by Jeff Russell on Sep 19, 2008 at 6:25:24 pm

Has anyone had problems with iDVD after installing a Decklink HD Extreme card? Or am I the only one who uses that program? :)
When I open iDVD, I get 2 folders in the dock that say 'MultiMediaImporter.oxygene' and if I right click on them they say 'application not responding'
I know iDVD worked before and I tried both DVD burners.
Now when I burn a DVD all I get is audio and a green screen.

Any ideas?

Jeff

Do you have any divx codecs in /Library/Quicktime?

We have reported this issue to Apple and are waiting for their response.

Thanks for your help.

I removed all the codecs out of the quicktime folder and still had the problem. I even removed the card but still had the same problems. I was on the phone with Apple for about 5 hours and they had no idea what was wrong. The day after the call an update came out. But I haven't downloaded that yet because the DVD I'm burning works under a different account, sometimes. So I'm a little hesitant to upgrade just yet.

Jeff
