RED support

Hi.

http://www.red.com/developer

Does BM have any sign up plans ?

I have constantly questions from customers to use red material on my multibridge pro but have no support for that. I assume multibridge should be really good for red 2k work flow.

I have a Multibridge Extreme, and I can do 2K via the DVI/HDMI out. What connections do you have on the Pro? Do you have a DVI or HDMI out on the Pro?

Hi.

I can do hdmi and sdi but that is not my point.

What i want to do is import red files to my FCP timeline and play them back without rendering as i can with prorez and uncompressed.

Now i have to render before playing out and that is not the part that i like wery much. As i undrestand aja can do this ... then i think BM can also and i wonder when it will happen.

My clients have now 3 main sources 35 mm on digibeta or hd, 16 mm on digibeta and RED as files. This is why i'm after realtime playback and i do not want to render 40 minutes of material :)

Ok I see. You know I've never tried playing back the proxies before above 1080i/23.98fps. I import the proxies I want, and I can do instant playback on mine without render. However, I have never tried that at 2K over HDMI yet. Good point.
