Dedklink Pro Installation problem in Mac G5
by George Patay on Aug 17, 2008 at 5:33:34 pm

I'm trying to install an older Decklink Pro into my Mac Dual 2.7 G5. It was a working card.

I'm running a ATI X800 graphics card.

I'm not having any luck getting the Decklink card to be recognized in the System Profiler.

I installed the drivers but any of the Decklink programs say no hardware is installed.

I've tried reseting the PRAM, removing the battery, etc. but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi George

What specification is your G5 currently at? Are you on the latest mac OS x? Also, which version of the decklink drivers do you have installed? You can see the optimal configuration for your g5 in the minimum specs in our support library.

If you go to system preferences::decklink, you will see the version number across the top. Also, are the options here greyed out?
