IntensityPro - pink and green output
by Craig Howard on Jul 28, 2008 at 10:04:15 pm

Windows System that was previously working perfectly has developed an issue suddenly.

IntensityPro - is sending pink and green scrambled output from Premiere CS3 to external monitor accompanied by distorted audio.

Do these symptoms indicate anything?

Have tried another card with same issue.

Source files are fine and play in Non BM Presets.

Latest I/Pro Driver installed.

Hi Craig,

Sorry to ask the obvious question but can you think of anything which may have changed in between the video looking normal and the video turning pink and green? The pink and green color sounds like the wrong color space being used, eg attempting to send out RGB video on a YUV timeline, but that probably wouldn't explain the distorted audio.

Are you working with a different video format or with video from a different source? Are you using the HDMI or analog connections for monitoring video and audio and what kind of display and audio system are you using?

Regards,

Can not think of any thing that changed.

For a while I even had a timeline with clips on it. All same source material 720p PAL mxf) Some would play fine and others were broken.

Intensity Pro I/O Connections are RGB to RGB to Panasonic LH1700w HD Monitor

PC Display is Quadro FX1700 to twin monitor setup.

All drivers are current

Assus Pro5k Motherboard

Audio is On Board Realtek and BM Intensity Pro (to match BM Preset)

Curently working through a hardware /driver reinstall process guided by BM Support but any light you can throw on the subject would be appreciated

Hi Craig

What type of encoding of footage is contained within the MXF files? Is it DVCPro, XDCAM etc? Which BMD project settings do you use to import your MXF files into?

Do you have any other footage with which you can import into Premiere ie does other footage look fine and play out on your monitor ok?

Just looking at your Sig it says Premiere Pro 2 for the PC, but you mentioned you were using a Windows system with CS3, could you please clarify which version you are using?

It will be interesting to see how the re-install process goes, it's a pain but it can be very helpful for these faults that just "appear."

(Sig updated.)

mxf files are DVCPro

Note. BM 720p Project Presets and same source files were working previously.

I will do the reinstall later today and see how that goes before extending this thread too much.

I have the same problem. Under OSX (Premiere Pro CS3) I have no problems with the same exact .mxf files (DVCPROHD 720p30)
