VTR replacements and multiple cards, anythign new?

I'm getting to the point in our project where I need to make a commitment to an ingest/playout system and the new Black Magic Decklink Extreme and VirtualVTR are the front runners at the moment. I'd love to have something that could handle more than a single card (and therefor record/playback stream) per Mac.
QuickClip Pro looked interesting, but it sounds like that's now relegated to "legacy" status. The softron products look interesting, but not nearly as full featured.
