gamma / color shift with blackmagic uncompressed codec

hi @ll

great forum!

we have a problem with the blackmagic codec [wich we need to use, because we have decklink cards to preview our jobs on class 1 monitors]

making a composition with a color solid and rendering this comp results in different colors depending on the output-module settings:

rendering a 1024x576 PAL composition in 4 different ways:
1. 1024x576 animation codec
2. 720x576 animation codec
3. 1024x576 blackmagic uncompressed 10 bit codec
4. 720x576 blackmagic uncompressed 10 bit codec

if we compare the rendered results in final cut pro they are pretty similar to each other, except of the BM-coded 1024 clip, its much lighter and also the color-channels have changed more than a little...

any ideas?

TIA

torsten
