hi,

i have no experience capturing from hdcam-sr, but we use the MB-Pro for hdcam (via HD-SDI to 10Bit 4:2:2 YUV).

but i think there isnīt a big problem with hdcam-sr, because the MB has also dual link HD-SDI. so you should be able to capture uncompressed 10Bit RGB 4:4:4 with Premiere Pro. you just need a fast raid... ;-)

if someone has hands-on experiences with hdcam-SR, i would be also interested in.

best,
bernhard.

unless I'm mistaken there are multibridge models with only 1 HD-SDI spigot that cannot ingest dual link 4:4:4 from HDCAM-SR.

I have the multibridge extreme and I know for a fact it CAN do dual link 4:4:4 as it has 2 HD-SDI spigots.

just make sure you whatever you buy has dual link and your good to go.

Hi.

Eclipse is very appropriate.

I have Pro version and it is also really good for that if you take look at the specs.

Hi,

All current Multibridge models support 4:4:4 Dual Link using either 2 BNC cables OR 1 single BNC cable via 3 Gb/s SDI. This means that if you don't need that many AES/EBU audio IOs, the Multibridge Pro will be sufficient for working with the HDCAM SR.

HDCamSR, if you have the 444 board, installed will easily crossconvert the signal to 422. 444 would be overkill for Bluray authoring anyhoo..

you cant hear my inner voice scream... can you..?
