System will not shutdown with Decklink HD Extreme PCIe installed

This one is driving me nuts.
With the Decklink HD Extreme installed installed in an ASUS P5K-E motherboard (black 4x PCIe slot), the system will not shutdown.
Without the card installed, the system shutdowns fine.
Everything on the DeckLink appears to work fine.
I was using the 6.4.2 drivers and have removed them to upgrade to the 6.4.4 drivers. No difference.
Is there some trick or power management setting to making this work?
OS is Windows XP 32-bit SP2.
Thanks

Hi Alan,
Can you describe what happens when you shut down? Which screen are you "stuck" in?

With the Decklink installed and shutting down WinXP, the system will appear to shutdown but the system does not power off.
The display goes blank, but the CPU Fan, case fans, and hard drives do not shut off.
If I remove the Decklink card from the system, it does shutdown and power off.
I have tried this on a ASUS P5K-E, Abit IP35-Pro, and DFI P35 LT now with a fresh install on WinXP SP2 with updates on each.
With the Decklink card installed without drivers the system shutdowns normally.
However, after installing the 6.4.4 drivers and verifying the Decklink is operational, the system will not power off.
Again, removing the Decklink card at this stage allows the system to power off.
I have checked the "wake" options for the wake by device in all of the systems BIOS and they are disabled.

Just making sure my last post was clear on the issue and if there is anything you would like me to test further to resolve this issue?
