Multibridge Pro Output to Apple 23" Display (via HDMI - DVI)

Hi Guys,
Has anyone out there tried outputting to an Apple 23" LCD display, via the HDMI output and a HDMI to DVI adapter?
In theory I can not imagine why it wouldn't work, but I just wanted to check before we went any further with the purchase. I realise the Multibridge Extreme has a built in DVI output, but we can't justify the extra $1600.00 (AU) when we are just using it as a stand alone converter.
I have copied below the specs of the HDMI to DVI converter I was thinking of using.
