I used to be able to make DPX files w/ FrameLink. Now I can't. I must be doing something differently and wrong.
I have a 1920x1080p / 23.98 fps movie that I'm exporting from FCP using Quicktime current settings / Make Movie Self Contained.
In the past I dropped the new file on Framelink and it created a folder with DPX files automatically, no problem. Now, I have to click create, then designate where to save, then it makes an empty folder and creates a stand alone Quicktime file of just black. No DPX files.
It seeems like I'm doing everything just like in the past.
There was an issue in the past where I had to make sure I had "self contained" clicked, but I'm doing that now and still nothing.
Is there any tips I could try?
Help!!!
Thanks in advance!
Ian

Thanks,
I switched to BMD Uncompressed 4:2:2 and it worked.
By the way, is the RGB way better?

It depends on the source
RGB sources so far are only FIlm scan, Viper, Dalsa, Arri D20, Sony F950, reel stream mod for HVX
otherwise you are best off in 4:2:2 YUV space
