Why does the multibridge studio unit run at 260 Fahrenheit (127 Celsius)

I can't be in the same room as it becuase of the fan speed

Is this common?

You talking about the Multibridge Extreme? If so, it is loud and the room does get hotter now (don't know if it's due to that or the recent L.A. weather). Either way, I had read somewhere here that an update was coming soon to handle the fan better.

For me, it can't come soon enough!

The Multibridge v5.4.1 driver will fix this.
