I own a dvx 100b is it possible to use the hyper deck studio from black magic design?

Nope- it requires SDI which the DVX definitely doesn't have. Also it would be massive overkill for the DV/NTSC format of the DVX100. Stick with the DV tapes- that's about as good as the sensors can do....
