time code between cameras.
by Don Walker on Jul 13, 2009 at 6:26:29 pm

After 29 years in the broadcast industry working with everything from quad, D-1,2,3 Digital Betcam etc. I consider myself pretty smart. But I can't figure out how I can match timecode between a HPX-170 and a HMC-150. The P2 TC is firewire out , the 150 comes out of the composite video out. Is there a work around?
Thanks
Don Walker

Have you considered feeding audio timecode from an external source into both cameras? Don't think they are in any way compatible to do what you expect.
