I don't ownn any IDX batteries. I did just go on the Internet and saw that they were running 14.2 volts for some of them.
I believe that the battery setting on the camera is to show you when you have a low battery. You should be able to see if your batteries are running 14.2, 14.4 or above.
Typically the cameras like to run at 12 volts. The original PB90 batteries were rated at 12 volts but when they were "loaded" the voltage dropped below 12 volts. That is why AB and others run at 14.4 so when loaded down with lights and camera, the battery is still well above 12 volts.
