Sony Color VF on Panasonic

A rep told me a few days back that he knew many people were using the Sony color viefinder from the f900 on their 3000, 2000, and vari-cam cameras. He said it just required modifying the connector. Is anyone doing this and does anyone know if someone sells a Sony to Panasonic VF pigtail?

I own an Accuscene Color VF which works on both the F900 and the Panasonic Varicam H and later models, but it requires both a different pigtail and a different mounting bracket. I'm trying to sell it if you're interested. Contact me off list at john at sharaf dot net.
