Cameras for web streaming

Hi -
I'm wondering if anyone could give me advice on what cameras might fit my needs. I'm setting up a system wherein reporters will create several clips a day, on-camera in a small studio. The clips will then we encoded and streamed. This may also be done live occasionally.
I have my own ideas about the camera complement, but wanted some other ideas. They would be HD, have D-SDI and HMDI outputs and I'd go for as large a chip that I could afford. Think in the 5-10K range.

Are you looking for a camera with Shallow Depth of Field?
The Sony FS700 might be viable for in studio use. It's probably not great for handheld use in the field though.
The Canon XF105 or the XF305 are good small ENG friendly cameras but aren't large sensor shallow depth of field cameras.

FS100 does not have HD-SDI which he mentioned he wanted. Not having HD-SDI out means he'd need various devices to convert HDMI, which is not good for long cable runs.

As someone who also has a small studio, you can get by with HDMI but it's still a problem. If you're running the cable around the corners instead of across the floor you may still need a long enough run and with a locking cable that SDI naturally provides.

Hello,
The problem is not only what kind of camera you will use but also who will be your service provider. You would want to make sure that you have high-quality video content for your viewers available.
I've been using livestreamingcdn.com services and I am very happy with the results and with their knowledge about web streaming.
I hope this helps a little.
