 | Real-Time Encoding to file, then FTP
by Ben Watson on Jul 9, 2009 at 7:21:04 pm |
Guys, I need a solution to get a high quality (dvd or better) file directly encoded to an h.264 file. I'd like to get the file size under 1 gb, production will last about 30-40 mins weekly.
The reason it needs to be done real-time, is so we can get it onto a webserver for download within an hour. Is this feasible?
TIA

What is the quality output of this blackmagic device? This seems like a simple and easy solution, but I sure dont want to depend on something that may be 2nd rate.
I know blackmagic's stuff is suppose to be good (dont use personally), but at $150, I have to wonder.
I am looking at the Matrox MXO2 with Max technology, but definitely like the blackmagic price!
