Sorensen VP6 Compressed files falling out of sync

Hi,

I wonder if anyone else has had this:

I've compressed a couple of videos using Sorensen V4.2 (PC) both films lose their sync after about 3 minutes (not at the same point), the only possible reason I can see is that there are some flash frames from a photographer on location and some brightness changes around the sync loss points but I can't really see why those would cause the drop.

Any ideas?

If you are embedding your video in the .swf file this is a known issue. Choose the linked route.

er,

I'm compressing .flv files and testing them before they are embedded into the website.
