I have a sample video that I want to post and the marketing people here want to know if it is possible to add a clickable link at the end of the sample to send interested parties directly to another page on the site. I am pretty sure that this could be done in Flash, but our server is setup to do only WM. is it possible in Windows media?

A URL "flip" can be embeded at the end of a .wmv video that will automatically launch the viewers browser to any URL. Premiere and Windows Media Video Encoder 9 can do this, among others.

That's good news. How hard is this to do? We use vegas pro here, But I use Window media encoder to Multibitrate the files, is it called "flip" in the software? also when you say flip I assume that you are referring to bouncing the browser to a designated web page?
Thanks for the info, you help me look good to my boss!

Yes!
In Premiere it is called a Web Link and is added during editing by placing a Timeline Marker near the very end of the video in the timeline and then opening the Marker properties and adding the URL...please include the HTTP://www
at the beginning.
