Aaron StraderQuicktime 7 question...

I'm trying to plan out content for a project.

Is there a difference in between a QT produced MPEG-4 based .m4v file and a standard MPEG-4 produced with a 3GP mobile video converter?

The Sony PSP, Clio, and other media players use the MV4 formatted video files.

The new iPod will be using the M4V formatted video. Is there any difference between the two, other than extension?

Thanks!

Often the audio codec is different between 3GPP and other MPEG-4 variants.
