Live video to the web

I have a possible client for a racing event who wants to do a live web broadcast to the web. Up to four cameras will be used.

Besides the cameras and Internet connection I'm at a loss for what other equipment will be needed.

Any suggestions?

Newtek makes a all in one switcher that you can conect your cameras too. it also has the ablitiy to send out a live internet streaming video, you just need to find a host.

we use the Tricaster Broadcast to produce live video webcasts all the time. Here's an in-studio live video webcast we produced a few weeks ago that my brother documented with a flip cam:
