Video recievers/hook up question for live event
by John Reynolds on May 5, 2008 at 2:42:28 pm

I was asked to use my Canon GL2 to hook it up to a VJ's computer/equipment and large sceen tv to broastcast a live VJ's musical event. I won't need to record it only broadcast it to the monitors there. Does anyone know what kind of video reciever/hookup's I will need to do this? And how to go about this?

Thanks

John

Depends on the gear HE has.

You can use one of the following, depending on what kind of projector is being used,

Ranked in quality, from lowest to highest:

Composite (RCA "Yellow" cable from the camera's breakout cable.)

S-Video (On the camera.)

FireWire (On the camera.)
