He did Rafa, yes. (Up a few posts). CB accepts MP4 import by a couple methods and Jason tried both ... it seems the resulting BPAV structure as created for him by CB was indeed recognizable by XDT but the consequent Import process just threw up erro | | | | |

Good thought Stuart, but sadly no joy when I tried today with OSX 10.6.1, FCP7 and XDT 2.10.0.

Someone who's finally heard about this.
We are using the 2.8 and 2.9 versions of the XDT. And not, I haven't tried reverting to an older version... I'll give it a shot.

My feeling is that this is a bug in FCP and cannot be fixed by an update to XDCAM Transfer.
XDCAM Transfer copies and rewraps files to the target HD without issue and these files are then imported to FCP by FCP itself not by XDCAM Transfe | | | | |

Fwiw XDT2.5.1 is working fine here with FCP5.1.4, 10.4.11 on all our Intel Mac's.
If it helps, although you cannot currently see the proxies (which would seem to be an issue with your QT install) you can "name" the discs with the XDT app in | | | | |

You can get a QuickTime movie from SxS card with XDCAM Transfer 2.1 even when you don't have the Apple codecs installed (which is probably why XDT says 'No Image Available').

I think the timecode overlay option in XDT was removed because QT Player now displays the timecode properly if the movie has a timecode track (and all proxy and hi-reso movies from XDT do).
