I am curious.. are you using an external drive for the prores file?
I have noticed that (sometimes) Vegas was not able to playback prores files if they are on an external drive but would play them if they came from an internal drive. Don't know why | | | | |

I just tried it in Pro 10 32 and 64 bit and audio only here too :(
I am running the latest version of QuickTime and I seem to recall someone suggesting that it be dropped back to an earlier version but I can't remember which one worked for them.

Phillipe, just because it appears to use the same file type doesn't mean that a Mac-generated one can be read by a PC.

Alright so here is the drill. I needed to do color correction for my project, since I am on Vegas and my color grader is on Mac I exported all my clips using the Sony MXF template.
