The Mac OS does not support GPUs over Thunderbolt-PCI. Any other card is supported. I've just got a Mercury Helios Thunderbolt-PCI from OWC. It works just fine for connecting an Atto SAS card to a MBP.

You can use a BMD Intensity Pro or DeckLink. I tested with their Tempo SSD Pro and had 15fps with RAW from BMCC (thanks John Brawley). With any HD format its butter. Cant use it as GPU expander though. All in all, a great addition to the Retina
