I have been running 2 studio videohub for 2 years in a live TV show. They have each locked up once. The videohub is excellent value for money but I would not consider it as reliable as more expensive alternatives. I would not install it is as | | | | |

Hi,
If you are thinking of doubling up the routes, then you'll really need 4 units to get the full matrix, however, if you're thinking of sending signals from one router to another rough some creative routing, that's still possible.

Alternatively... Is it possible to do the following;
On Channel 1 is Edit 1 and Monitor 1
On Channel 2 is Edit 2 and Monitor 2
Is it possible to do Monitor 2 takes Edit 1*????
*Possibly by doing Mon 2 takes SDI Out from Channel 1

So...All the outputs (whether they are "for monitoring" or not) are independent crosslinks and are individually routable.
In other words Output 1 does not have to contain the same rout as Output 73 (for monitoring).
