Simply grade as is, DVCPro HD. Render to Uncompressed 10 bit or ProRes HQ. Since the footage is 8-bit, converting it prior to capture just makes it bigger, not better. DVCPro is 8-bit, making it 10 bit doesn't help you at all. Color processes in RGB

Import your EDL to Color. that should apply your cut points to the .mov file. Or, go back to RedCine. Export your shots individually as DPX files, then use you EDL in Color to conform to your DPX from RedCine. Let us know if this works.Michael Sand

For user shapes, you must assign the tracker in the geometry room, not the secondary room. Also, make sure to attach your shape prior to tracking. The tracker assign in the secondary room is only for circles and squares. makes perfect sense eh? ;-)M
