How many Avids do you have? EditShare will let them share OMF media files and projects, something the Xsan won't... However, EditShare is a black box, so it's easy to get going but you are vendor-locked for all future storage upgrades.

Did you shoot HQ mode? I can't see the sense yet of acquiring in HQ, unless sony refitted the HDCAMSR studio decks to accept that. In the indie feature world, HQ seems good for VFX scenarios. David Davidson

I haven't experienced that, but I have had difficulty getting the card to lock onto the deck @ 23.98, even w/ a tri-sync gen. When does the jittery picture happen? Can you be more specific?
