You could use a minidisc recorder which is less expensive and bulky than DAT, but you would still be syncing in post. You could loop all of your dialog in post, but that is very difficult as well. If its a short film then syncing a minidisc or DAT i | | | | |

PHIL ROBERTSON won the Kodak award for best cinematography for feature lenght "Frozen" at Slamdance.
Frozen was shot on HDCAM.
