Good question. You could try installing the codecs from the RED camera site. But I think your best bet would be to transcode your R3D clips into image sequences (RAW, DPX, openEXR, targa, tiff, etc.)that Shake would "prefer". The new versions of F

i'm guessing field dominance of my pal sequence as even(lower)..because when i set deinterlacing to even into FileIn node prameters tab and set the frame Inc setting in the time bar to 0.5 and step through a group of frames,the motion looks correct.

You will need to roto this out. You can try Motion. If you're not happy with the result, try Shake, it's got pretty good roto tools. If that's not good enough, try Silhouette Roto. It's a dedicated roto/paint tool, and it will definitely speed up

I'm not a final cut guy. If it supports alpha it should, but I do all my compositing in After Effects. If you're on Mac and don't have AE, you could use Motion.

Yes, but just like wiggle, you can animate it, so you could start it not changing the position and then animate the amount. Except it's easier to animate than wiggle...no expressions or sliders are necessary.

this works great except for the fact that when ever you turn on any spot the object changes. like when you click position box so you can vibrate the position it moves from the original spot. same with the scale. when you click on it it changes sizes
