I had this once happen to me with a rental 501 or 503 (not sure anymore) using Manfrotto bowl legs (75mm or 100mm, can't remember).

Hi Bob,
The viewfinder hood is made my Blackmagic-Design and is bundled with the camera. Close look says that the tripod is the Sachtler Video 20 S1, follow focus is Chrosziel, and the red on the mounting plate and rods tells me Zacuto.

I've used the Sachtler FSB-6T with EX1R and it works perfectly in terms of light weight and balanced - actually there's a couple of hours left on the ebay listing to save $ on my "good as new one" -

You will come to love the center column on the Sachtler, when it telecopes way up higher than the O'Connor could ever get you, even with the legs 90 percent drawn-in and all wobbly. The Sachtler is rock-stable at max height. I LOVE how the Sachtler | | | | |

Our Sachtler 8 comes close, but not exactly as good, because the legs are independent and not ganged quite like the O'Connor's mechanism uniquely does. (Our O'Connor looks like yours but with black, not red legs. Works the same.)
