Just to clarify when you say you are grading in Resolve "on FullData" range - are you referring to having your SDI output set to full range (instead of scaled to legal 64-940) or are your referring to working with full range media?

Yes, a render in native resolution would be incredible. In our most typical workflows this is probably the biggest shortcoming we run into with Resolve.

The station tech just sent me the supplied list of formats that Thunder will recognise. It says it will recognise .mov so what settings would I use in FCP Export or Compressor to get the best result from a mixture of 1080i 720p and SD PAL footage.

The BBC does indeed use a lot of Premiere Pro though it's not an account I focus on being on the other side of the pond. ESPN is primarily Quantel with a little Avid. FCP and Premiere Pro have about equal status there (not much). | | | | |
