If After Effects built-in warp stabalizer doesn't do the job, I like using a plugin by ProDad called Mercalli. What's nice is that it will, at the expense of zooming into the frame, also smooth the speed and momentum of pan shots.

Vegas does not have transitions like that built in, but Prodad Adorage provides tons and tons of transitions just like that and more in their Adorage product line.

It's a fussy effect, if you make any cuts or lengthen your clip or add effects before it in the effect stack, it will need to reprocess. It's just the nature of it. You just need to go into the effect settings and OK them again. - Angelo Lorenz

I am working in Vega Pro 9 32. I apply the video FX proDAD Mercalli 2.0 to any clip. I leave the default Merrcalli settings and run "Video Analysis". Then I save the project and the clip looks stabilized in the preview window.Everything seems OK.
