As Vishesh say, it appears that most of the effects are as a result of the lighting setup, but mainly as a result of the camera setup, with pretty shallow depth of field, which allows for the lights in the stage area to be thrown out of focus. I

There's stereoscopic 3D clips on the Pond5 site for sale. I've seen both side-by-side narrow, side-by-side full, and anaglyphic. I've also see clips that are sold separately as left eye and right eye, and you pair them up using your own software.
