Does anybody know if in V14 the 1080p25 codec has been left out? I'm not able to import XML files from FCP in this format. Also the ingested (by FCP) files cannot be played with the QT-player of my M100 startup disk. Everything is fine in FCP startup

We use Panasonic BT-LH80W 8" monitor for field review. It is probably one of the most accurate monitors out there. Special functions with built in waveform, pixel for pixel and red focus function is very useful. It has a direct AB mount as well. h

Vince is absolutely correct here and you should be looking for an external RAID array, controlled by a card in a slot in your computer. It's all about throughput, really. You need to be able to play back HD files without dropping frames and today

No, this is not normal behavior and shouldn't be expected. There could be a number of things causing this issue, and I'll need to get more info to proceed. But try resetting your PRAM first and see if that helps. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT

Glad you got it figured out. SD 16:9 and HD 16:9 are not the exact same aspect so you will get slight black bars on the sides of the SD 16:9 unless you also use the "Stretch video to fill output frame size (do not letterbox)" option when rendering.
