I use Small Tree products (and GraniteSTOR) here in my business... great stuff. I'm curious about your "good sharing" practices though. You mentioned the symlink which you showed me previously. My question is this (and it's a biggie):

Yeah I'd like to know how solutions like EditShare, Final Share, GraniteSTOR and Isilon are handling the fact that FCP X doesn't work with network volumes like SMB, AFP and NFS.

Yes.
"Leaf" is Small Tree's Converged Networking Software which will run on Small Tree network adapters. (GbE and 10GbE) --

will Leaf run only over 10Gig ethernet ? Will it use a 10Gig switch ? Does it use FCoE as it's protocol ?
