Does anybody know if in V14 the 1080p25 codec has been left out? I'm not able to import XML files from FCP in this format. Also the ingested (by FCP) files cannot be played with the QT-player of my M100 startup disk. Everything is fine in FCP startup

Make sure you never use your system drive as your scratch drive. Another possible reason for the error might be corrupt drive directories. Run Disk Warrior on your system and external disks. IMHO, Disk Warrior is the most important utility to have if

Interesting that hours after posting this Ken Stone posted a step by step how to create a Blu-ray compatible DVD using FCP7's Share feature. He did make an important technical note. Such AVCHD "Blu-ray" DVD would have an avg data rate of 14.7Mbps

This example uses a video of a bird starting in a bright sky and ending in water which is darker, the contrast transition is controlled by keyframing the saturation and color correction.
