Next Monday in Melbourne we will be having a swift look at the Ki Pro mini at our facility.
We are always wary of what we read compared to real world outcomes of equipment developed in the 60HZ world but implemented in the 50HZ world.

I've also got Mark Spencer's book, which is an excellent supplement, but I think there's nothing to beat a video tutorial to get the concepts over

| | | | Footage from FFV Mini DVR by Tim Maloney on Nov 30, 2009 at 12:40:54 am in the Apple Final Cut Pro Forum Hi All,
I've got some footage shot on a Fast Forward Video Mini DVR.
The shooter has shot in its native form which is a form of MPEG with the "Zoran" Codec.
Any one know how to transcope - re wrap or treat this for use in FCP.

Thank you! | | | | |

I am evaluating a solid state dv recorder from Fast Forward Video.
It makes dv quality recordings onto Compact Flash.
when I import the files it makes into FCP and create say a dvpro 50 uncompressed PAL sequence I need to render.
