Sounds like a corrupt font to me.
As far as Im aware, Font Book doesn't activate and deactivate your fonts for you. You may want to try Extensis Suitcase Fusion as this will allow you to just active the fonts you need and will do a scan for corrup | | | | |

Try to unistall zoone software (several problems has reported with this tool). the unistaller has found here http://remove-it.org/tools/unzoone

I'd suggest Font Book too, since it comes with your Mac for free and probably does what you need.

You see bicubic interpolation in the image size palette, and yes that is photoshop default method for resizing images. Median is a blur filter which with a little touch gives you similar results to what the Gen Fractals or extensis Pixselcale do.

Do a find on your hard drive for all .lst files, and delete them. lst files can get corrupted and cause such an application specific problem. They regenerate themselves when needed.

I have noticed that problem too, recently. Can you use the backspace key, preceded by an arrow key to move the cursor?

google returned about one hundred commercial and freeware/shareware font mgrs for Windows.
Extensis seems to own the market on Macintosh so might be a worthy W products.

I have encountered a problem with 10.4.6 that may be serious.
The font utility that ships with Tiger, Font Book - is now very unstable.
I have used all the font systems available under OSX to get stable results.

Never upres your files, they will only get larger with no or quality improvemnt sthat are not visibel to the human eye.
