The project is a MPEG 2 Blu Ray and we import as assets the video and audio. We drag them to the newly created timeline and on the timeline we made 8 chapters. Then we created a PSD menu with 8 button and we link the buttons to the chapters. So far

On the export panel, make sure you have "Include Source XMP data" selected also.(it is on the small drop down menu) So, you have put numbers in the name field? That should work. Try creating a NEW ENcore project then export to test.

Dear MM, The transcoded slideshow shows up as a series of .m2v files with strange names in the Sources\Transcodes folder inside of your main project folder. Join the .m2v files together in a Pr timeline and you can edit them as you please.

The only way is to find the transcoded MPEG2 file in your project's Transcodes folder and then import that into Premiere Pro. You'll likely have to load a few of those files into a media player to find the right one, because the name of the file won

I've always numbered my chapter markers using numbers. Since a chapter number is automatically placed at the front I always started with 2 and went up from there. So I do have the name box filled out...with numbers. Still not exporting.

The Encore Chapter Markers need to be named. It's a CS4 requirement that if the Encore Chapter Markers are not named then MPEG-2 DVD exports won't carry them into Encore. That'll fix ya up. Just did a week of trouble shooting this exact thing.

Encore will fail with SCC files that have any captions within the first two seconds (00:00:02:00). It looks like maybe your caption company was on the right track, but they fixed only the first two frames (00:02) instead of two seconds (02:00). J
