Just because an OS is not "officially" supported by Sony doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Windows 7 is just a repackaged Vista without the bloat so anything that ran on Vista should run fine on Windows 7. You just can't call Sony for support.

I swear by Maxell, who actually make their own media. (Back in the day I always used their audio cassettes and reel-to-reel media followed by their VHS tapes!)

If you import 24p media into DVD Studio Pro, it will screw it up. You must use compressor on the 24p media to make the correct MPEG2, with pulldown added as flags. Then take this MPEG2 into DVDSP. Then all should work as intended...

In my opinion its not really worth it to even try and install FCS2 on a MacBook Air. Sure you could access any CD/DVD media via remote disk from the other computer, but once you get it on the Air you open up a whole other can of problems.
