Are you saying that Combustion 4 does not work with newer OSs or that Combustion 2008 does not work with newer OSs. The other post confirms that 2008 does work with Snow Leopard.

Combustion 2008 works fine with snow leopard, I cant say anything about combustion 4, in my option the superior version, I've only used it on Pcs at my Facility

Thanks again Alex. I've had problems with transfers and was confused by them. Both Combustion and AfterEffects do an impressive job with effects I want but getting the footage in and out and where I need it is proving to be a lot more of a problem

Great! If you are using the Adobe PPro to AE workflows....be sure that you are getting the correct frames when you move from PPro to AE... I had noticed that AE doesn't play so well with HDV media. Alex

Hmmm.... I'm sure combustion does not support HDV capture directly. I used to use HDV all the time in combustion from PPro.... BUT I was capturing via Matrox hardware, so it had an AVI wrapper.... You need a codec that works back and forth
