FCP 5 is very old an only has the XDCAM SD codecs and the 25 Mbps HDV codec. This is the same codec used for EX @ SP 1440; if you happened to shoot in that codec you can rewrap to QT and he can edit. The 35 Mb HQ 1920 codecs were not added until v6. | | | | |

720PN24 is supposed to be the most data conservative setting right.

We are shooting 2 to 3 days (8 hr days) a month of Power Points for this client. This week alone we logged 509GB of 720p on P2 cards.

Sorry for any confusion. Calibrated{Q} XD Decode for OSX is a QuickTime Decode codec for XDCAM HD/EX & HDV .MOV files and is not meant for (and should not be installed on) computers with FCP - as FCP comes with the Apple XDCAM Codec.
